Meet The Herd!
Clara
Clara is a 7 year donkey that Andrea rescued in May of 2023! She is a very sweet girl and came with her baby, Clover. Clara is used for unmounted lessons.
Clover
Clover is a 1 year old donkey that came along with Clara! She was only 2 weeks at the time when Andrea rescued them. Since Clover is still so young, she is not used for lessons at this time. We just want her to live her best baby life! She will be used for unmounted lessons when she is an appropriate age.
Hippie
Andrea bought Hippie back in 2021. Before Andrea owned him, he broke his nose and the way it healed caused him to breathe much louder than a normal horse. At first, a lot of people think he is aggressive or scared, but it's just the way he is from his injury and is actually one of the sweetest guys! He was her personal horse, but unfortunately sustained an injury out in pasture and is no longer able to be ridden. He is now used for unmounted lessons.
Reina
We've had Reina for about 7 years and she was one of our first lesson horses. She is a very sweet girl and is used for riders of all experience levels!
Jaxson
We got Jaxson in 2017 and he was one of our first lesson horses. He used to only be used for advanced riders as he can be bait forward, as we think the place that had him before us only really used him to "go fast". He has come a long way and is now used for riders of all experience levels!
Dallas
Dallas came to us in 2021 originally as a horse to be boarded at our barn. Unfortunately, him and his owner just weren't the right fit for each other. We decided to take him on and he has turned out to be a solid lesson horse!
Chexy
Chexy is one of Andrea's personal horses whom she competed on for a few years. After sustaining an injury, Andrea rehabbed her and then let her have a couple of years off to just be a horse.Chexy has slowly been brought back into work and enjoys her low-key lesson horse life.
